Talk & Vision introduces Video as a Service
London, January 2009 - Talk & Vision, specialist in visual communication, is expanding its managed videoconferencing service, MAVIS, which is delivered together with videoconferencing systems. This is Talk & Vision's ways of responding to the increased demand to outsource videoconferencing. The expansion of MAVIS provides Talk & Vision with a unique concept that enables companies to fully control and manage all of their videoconferencing activities.
Talk & Vision's portfolio contains nine different MAVIS packages all tailored to the users' wishes and requirements. The managed services make it easier for companies to start using videoconferencing. The shared infrastructure platform enables several companies to use the same video platform, which limits their costs. Talk & Vision has also improved insight into the costs by providing simple ROI calculations. This makes Video as a Service a fact.
Talk & Vision supports its customers by installing central management software on their network so their video activities can be managed remotely from the Customer Service Center (CSC). The advantage of doing this is that point-to-point and multipoint video conferences can be set up remotely, the CSC staff can monitor the connection during videoconferences, enabling ad hoc problems to be solved immediately, and the system configuration can be periodically and proactively checked to ensure the system is always ready to use.
Martijn Blokland, sales director at Talk & Vision: 'MAVIS enables us to offer a complete, hands-on service package and be the single point of contact for everything that has to do with visual communication. We relieve companies of additional tasks and remove potential barriers for end users. Thanks to MAVIS, companies have a clear picture of the costs of videoconferencing up front: there are no unpleasant surprises. The results we've booked so far exceed expectations. The user friendliness of the package keeps increasing the use of videoconferencing, which increases the savings. And that's what we like helping companies do.'
