Talk & Vision Awarded Cisco Master Status
Linschoten, the Netherlands - 1 February, 2011 - Talk & Vision, a specialist provider of visual communications and managed video services (MAVIS), today received the Cisco Master status, thereby achieving the highest level in Cisco's new partner programme. After acquiring TANDBERG Cisco developed its new Advanced Video Telepresence Partner Programme (AVTPP), aiming to set up a worldwide channel of value added resellers for the sales and support of Cisco TelePresence solutions. In addition to extensive Unified Communications expertise, Cisco Master Partners also offer advanced knowhow across the full Cisco portfolio, infrastructure and architecture.
While Cisco awarded the new status and level to its partners back in November 2010, the status has officially become effective today, with partners being monitored and checked on a continuous basis. "It's an honour and a privilege to be part of the select group of partners with the highest Cisco certification level," said Maarten van Heck, Manager Professional Services of Talk & Vision. "Our playing field is constantly changing, requiring us to constantly update our skills and expertise. We welcome the challenge to meet the exacting demands of our newly acquired status and will closely work with our KPN sister company Getronics to provide our Cisco customers with best-in-class end-to-end solutions."
Fred Gerritse, Partner Channel Director at Cisco Netherlands, commented: "The network has developed into a platform for all forms of interpersonal communication, collaboration and interaction, and support needs continue to increase in pace with the rapidly increasing role of the network. We therefore attach great value to specialized partners offering this support while contributing to the global availability of face-to-face communications across the network."
Erik Swart, Manager TelePresence & Video Sales Specialists at Cisco, said: "With its extensive managed video services portfolio and visual communications expertise, Talk & Vision has demonstrated that it meets the demands for our highest partner level. That's why we are excited to welcome Talk & Vision as Master Partner of our organization."
