Talk & Vision appoints Edwin de Lange Finance Manager
London, November 2010 - Talk & Vision, specialist in visual communications and managed video services (MAVIS), has appointed Edwin de Lange (41) as its Finance Manager. In assuming this position, Edwin bears responsibility for Talk & Vision's financial policy, while he will also serve as a member of its management team. His primary objectives are the further professionalization of the organisation's financial management and the coordination of financial relations with its parent company, KPN/Getronics.
Edwin has extensive experience in the field of financial management. Before making the move to Talk & Vision, Edwin held various business control positions at KPN during a nine-year period, the last five of which he served as Manager Control of KPN and Getronics' key accounts divisions. Prior to joining KPN, he served six years as Planning & Control Manager at the former NS Cargo.
‘My aim is to lift finance at Talk & Vision to the next level,' Edwin de Lange said, when asked to explain about his new post. ‘The greatest challenge in this respect is to keep control of the continuous growth of the business. We intend to focus particular attention on seeking growth by means of international expansion, portfolio development and the upsizing opportunities available in partnership with Getronics and KPN. In my view, a financially healthy organisation is a transparent one, which maintains amicable relations with its stakeholders.'
