KPN International and Talk & Vision team up to provide end-to-end managed video services
Linschoten, the Netherlands, 11 January 2011 - Talk & Vision, a specialist provider of visual communications and managed video services (MAVIS), joins forces with KPN International to offer fully managed network connectivity enabling end-to-end video communication. Customers can now turn to a single provider for a complete managed video services solution combined with the capabilities offered by KPN's international network infrastructure. They have unlimited access to a wide area network (WAN) link at a fixed monthly fee, plus all required hardware and software as well as the full MAVIS Total Care service package. In addition to WAN monitoring, KPN International can now also monitor the video performance on the local area network (LAN), resulting in a seamless end-to-end solution.
"Visual communications make heavy demands in terms of equipment, services and support as well as network infrastructure," explains Joost Deckers, Managing Director of Talk & Vision. "As a provider of managed video services we had only limited control on the network itself, apart from defining the technical requirements. Through our cooperation with KPN International, we can now offer an all-in-one global solution offering all that is required for care-free, fully managed visual communications."
"By combining the knowledge and experience of Talk & Vision in video communications with our network expertise, we can better serve our customers," says Jasper Snijder, Managing Director of KPN International.
"The new proposition enables us to better meet the growing demand for managed video services. With this managed end-to-end video solution we can ensure the service quality of the complete solution, while offering the customer a single point of contact. We are leading the market in this respect."
Availability
The new end-to-end managed video solution is available now and comes in three variants: personal video, meetingroom video and boardroom video.
