Technical consultant in central London (fulltime)
Due to vigorous growth of both the market and our business, we currently require a Technical Consultant to strengthen our team at our premises in central London (UK).
Main tasks
- You will be the specialist in the area of videoconferencing and, together with your Sales colleagues, you create opportunities with existing and new customers;
- You are responsible for creating Detailed Designs for videoconferencing solutions for our customers;
- You have a sound understanding of videoconferencing services and how these are used by our customer base. You know how to find out what the business drivers and challenges for our customers are. You can translate these into tangible offers and concepts;
- You are responsible for paid consultancy assignments with customers, in the areas of network design and security issues;
- You are involved in technical implementations.
Requirements
- HBO-level;
- Sound understanding of videoconferencing and audioconferencing solutions;
- Sound understanding of business economics;
- Proven track record in consultancy;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English;
- Excellent communication and social skills;
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, QoS and VPN;
- CCDA/CCDP level certified (or comparable);
- Proven track record in network architecture, with the ability to obtain all technical requirements for the integration of video conferencing into existing or new network solutions.
