Talk & Vision is one of Europe’s leading providers of worldwide visual communication services. Founded in 1998, the company set out to unlock the potential of richer and more effective digital communication services provided by emerging multi-media technologies. In the last decade, Talk & Vision helped videoconferencing secure itself a prominent role as an enabler of highly effective, cost-saving and carbon-reducing business communication. Today, Talk & Vision offers a comprehensive portfolio of powerful videoconferencing products and services, providing tailor-made visual communication solutions to a rapidly growing worldwide audience of customers across a wide variety of industries.
A KPN company
In 2009, the leading Dutch telco KPN acquired a 51% majority share in Talk & Vision. The merger was the world’s first between a large telco / ICT services company and a specialist provider of visual communication solutions. It provided a perfect framework for integrating the products and services of both companies to achieve new levels of focused, personalized multimedia communication. By leveraging their joint expertise and experience, and by combining their visions and market reach, KPN and Talk & Vision offer their customers a focused approach to achieve better business outcomes and reduce their TCO and carbon footprint.

Our locations
Talk & Vision is headquartered in Linschoten, the Netherlands. The head office is the coordination center for our European operations and also houses our multilingual Customer Service Center (CSC). In addition, we have local engineers and sales staff based at our company offices in Frankfurt (Germany), Heverlee (Belgium), London (UK) and also in Linschoten.
Our people
People are the lifeblood of our company. We fully realize that the success of our customers and our company depends on the quality and commitment of our workforce. That’s why we make ongoing investments in developing the expertise of our engineers and consultants. They are regularly trained, tested and certified by leading vendors like Cisco, Polycom and TANDBERG. And since most visual communication solutions are implemented in network environments, our engineers have in-depth knowledge of virtually all types of IP networks.

Sven Lagerweij (1967) - Managing Director Talk & Vision since January 1, 2006 studied International Management at the Amsterdam Business School. From 2002 to 2006, he was Talk & Vision's sales manager and in charge of the day-to-day business activities of the Linschoten office. Sven joined Talk & Vision from Sony, where he started as Channel Manager Videoconferencing in the Netherlands. From there, he moved to Sony Europe where he was Key Accounts Manager. During all his years in the business he witnessed the developments up close; the increasing quality in technology and video output, the growing acknowledgement of the business and user acceptance.

Martijn Blokland (1972) joined Talk & Vision as Sales Director on January 1, 2006 and leads Talk & Vision's sales division. He is responsible for the sales strategy and has an operational responsibility for the sales offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining Talk & Vision, Martijn was Global Account Director at TANDBERG, where he was responsible for TANDBERG's largest accounts in the Netherlands and managed several international account teams that developed new global business. Maarten van Heck - (1965) joined Talk & Vision on 1 July 2009 and is responsible for the Consultancy department and portfolio management. He also manages a number of vendor relationships. Before joining Talk & Vision, Maarten set up and built up the video communications department at KPN/Getronics, leading to the successful integration with Talk & Vision. Rob van den Boomgaard (1973) - Manager Operations Talk & Vision, joined Talk & Vision on March 1 2008 and is responsible for all operational activities such as planning, installation and customer services. Rob and his team will further improve quality levels to meet the demands of the growing customer base. Rob joins Talk & Vision from Easynet, an international network provider. At Easynet he held several positions such as Manager Customer Services and European Head of Fault Management before moving to Talk & Vision.

Cees Vink (1954) - Finance Manager, Talk & Vision as per January 1, 2008 is looking after all of the company's financial activities. Prior to joining Talk & Vision, Cees was senior financial specialist at Eiffel, a consultancy and secondment company located in Arnhem. In this role, he worked at several companies as interim financial manager.Cees will set up the international financial structure that will allow Talk & Vision to expand its international reach and increase its customer base.
