Arend Jan Steenhuisen (1965) - Founder Talk & Vision, established Talk & Vision in 1998. Under his leadership and clear vision, the company has grown exponentially in the 10 years of its existence: from one office in the Netherlands to a pan-European presence with a growing customer base of companies, non-profit organizations and governmental bodies. Today, he focuses his talents on marketing and business development to grow Talk & Vision internationally.

Arend Jan has a degree in engineering and gained his IT experience at KPN (Dutch telecom provider) where he set up a service called KPN Event and headed the 30-person team that runs it.

Talk & Vision's long-term opportunities are always on Arend Jan's mind; video communication, virtual collaboration and content sharing are emerging services. Arend Jan's insight into the industry and Talk & Vision's strengths place the company ahead of the competition.

Maarten van Heck -  (1965) joined Talk & Vision on 1 July 2009 and is responsible for the Consultancy department and portfolio management. He also manages a number of vendor relationships. Before joining Talk & Vision, Maarten set up and built up the video communications department at KPN/Getronics, leading to the successful integration with Talk & Vision. Prior to that Maarten, spent a number of years at Call Center Solutions (KPN) and managed business telephony portfolios in Getronics's business market.

Maarten obtained his degree in information systems from the School for Business Administration and Economics (HEAO) in The Hague. According to Maarten, the merger between Talk & Vision and KPN/Getronics will create a unique proposition enabling the companies to complement each other and operate successfully in this growing market.

Sven Lagerweij (1967) - Managing Director Talk & Vision since January 1, 2006 studied International Management at the Amsterdam Business School. From 2002 to 2006, he was Talk & Vision's sales manager and in charge of the day-to-day business activities of the Linschoten office.

Sven joined Talk & Vision from Sony, where he started as Channel Manager Videoconferencing in the Netherlands. From there, he moved to Sony Europe where he was Key Accounts Manager. During all his years in the business he witnessed the developments up close; the increasing quality in technology and video output, the growing acknowledgement of the business and user acceptance.

Sven Lagerweij is convinced that the long-expected breakthrough of videoconferencing has finally arrived: especially now that people are focusing more on their work-life balance and the green aspect has moved up the corporate agenda and is now considered to be part of socially responsible entrepreneurship.

Martijn Blokland (1972) joined Talk & Vision as Sales Director on January 1, 2006 and leads Talk & Vision's sales division. He is responsible for the sales strategy and has an operational responsibility for the sales offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Prior to joining Talk & Vision, Martijn was Global Account Director at TANDBERG, where he was responsible for TANDBERG's largest accounts in the Netherlands and managed several international account teams that developed new global business. Martijn gained his initial IT experience at British Telecom where he was Corporate Account Manager. Martijn has a Bachelor's degree in Business and Economics from the Rotterdam School of Management.

Rob van den Boomgaard (1973) - Manager Operations Talk & Vision, joined Talk & Vision on March 1 2008 and is responsible for all operational activities such as planning, installation and customer services. Rob and his team will further improve quality levels to meet the demands of the growing customer base.

Rob joins Talk & Vision from Easynet, an international network provider. At Easynet he held several positions such as Manager Customer Services and European Head of Fault Management before moving to Talk & Vision.

Cees Vink (1954) - Finance Manager, Talk & Vision as per January 1, 2008 will be looking after all of the company's financial activities. Prior to joining Talk & Vision, Cees was senior financial specialist at Eiffel, a consultancy and secondment company located in Arnhem. In this role, he worked at several companies as interim financial manager.Cees will set up the international financial structure that will allow Talk & Vision to expand its international reach and increase its customer base.
